Call centres and BPO
Hear every applicant before you invite them in.
Scoutly runs the first-round voice interview for contact-centre roles, in Tunisian Derja, French or English. Every applicant gets the same structured interview, at any hour, and your team gets a scored report with the full transcript.
The first call is where contact-centre hiring slows down.
The role is about the voice, and the volume is high. That combination makes the first round the hardest part to keep consistent.
Volume outpaces the phone
A new campaign brings applicants in waves, and every first call has to be booked, made and written up by hand.
The voice is the job
For an advisor, how someone speaks matters as much as what they say. A CV can't show it; a short call can, if someone has time to make it.
Every recruiter asks differently
When several recruiters screen in parallel, applicants get different questions, and the notes can't be compared side by side.
How it works for a contact-centre campaign.
Set it up once per role. Every applicant then goes through the same interview, whenever they're free.
- 1
Describe the role
Write a short brief in plain language: the role, the languages, what matters. Scoutly drafts the questions, the scoring criteria and the settings, and you can edit all of it before anything goes live.
- 2
Set it up for voice
Choose voice, the interview language (Tunisian Derja, French, English and more), the tone and how deep the follow-ups go. Turn on integrity controls if you need them.
- 3
Share one link
Post one public link with your job ads, or import applicants from an Excel sheet or PDF CVs and send each their own private link.
- 4
Review and shortlist
Each finished interview has a score per answer against your criteria, a summary and the transcript. Filter by status, compare, and export to XLSX or PDF.
A sample interview, in Derja.
The opening question, the applicant's answer as Scoutly transcribed it, and the follow-up it asked next.
Scoutly demo workspace · test interview for a customer-advisor role
A test interview we ran ourselves, not a real applicant. The follow-up was generated from the answer, not scripted.

My experience brought me closer to what customers need and linked technical work to concrete results. I like building things that solve real problems, and that's what motivates me.

A score for every answer
Each answer is rated against your criteria, with the reasoning, the strengths and the areas for improvement.

The interview, as it happened
The voice interview runs with a live transcript, and every word is kept: Derja in Arabic script, French and English in Latin.

One report per applicant
A summary, the assessment scores, highlights and communication-style notes, exportable to PDF.

What is measured, and how.
No black box: every score comes with a reason your team can check against the transcript.
Your criteria
The generator proposes criteria from your brief. For the sample interview above it proposed communication skills, handling pressure, and availability and commitment. You can edit or replace them.
Scored answer by answer
Each answer is scored against the criteria with a written reason, so a reviewer can verify any score in seconds.
How they communicate
Communication-style notes cover tone, confidence, clarity, and how direct and detailed each answer is.
Mixing languages is not penalized
Moving between Derja, French and English is how people talk at work, and it isn't scored against the applicant.
People decide
Scoutly gives your team structured evidence. Who moves forward is always your decision.
Integrity controls, when you need them.
Turn them on per interview: an identity photo, camera, microphone, entire screen and browser full screen are required; pasted text is blocked; tab switches and full-screen exits are logged. Every event lands on a timeline next to the question being answered.
Questions from contact-centre teams.
Can applicants answer in Tunisian Derja?
Yes. قمر, Scoutly's Tunisian interviewer, asks the questions out loud in natural Derja, and applicants can answer in Derja, French, English or a mix. Answers are transcribed as spoken.
What does an applicant need?
A computer with Chrome, a camera and a microphone. Phones and tablets aren't supported, because the interview uses screen sharing.
How long is the interview?
You decide when you create it: the number of questions and the duration. Applicants see both before they start.
Can one link cover a whole campaign?
Yes. Share one public link with every applicant, or import applicants from Excel or PDF CVs and give each a private link so you can track who has finished.
What if an applicant's connection drops?
Progress is saved automatically. The applicant returns to the same link and picks up where they left off.
Does Scoutly decide who gets hired?
No. Scoutly runs the first interview and gives your team a scored, explained report. People decide who moves forward.
Where is our data hosted?
On a dedicated server in Frankfurt, Germany, with encrypted connections and access limited to your organisation.
